Strawberries and cream - it must be Wimbledon
It’s around this time of year that the Wimbledon finals would have been taking place, one of the most famous tennis tournaments in the calendar. Although it was cancelled due to COVID-19, you can still get into the spirit of Wimbledon from home.
Why not get stuck in to strawberries and cream, or if you enjoy baking you could try making scones to enjoy with jam and cream for afternoon tea. Mary Berry has a recipe for scones that you can access here.
The BBC have been showing Wimbledon Rewind and this weekend it concludes with Wimbledon: The Greatest Final. Programmes are also available to view on BBC iPlayer and the BBC have been showing classic games and interviews.
On the BBC website, test your tennis knowledge with an online quiz, to name Wimbledon champions since 1968.
