C19 Update - Your Safety - Thursday 9 April

Your safety and security in your home is our top priority and this bank holiday weekend during the pandemic is no exception. Our staff will be continuing to deliver essential services this weekend just like every other day of the year.

We will be:

  • Keeping you safe in your home
  • Delivering care
  • Providing advice and support

As well as keeping your home safe we are here for anyone experiencing financial difficulties and we are here to help. Please contact our Money Matters team on 01952 217234 for a confidential conversation. They are ready to support you.

We are working closely with local authority partners to ensure that our older and more vulnerable customers are getting the essential supplies that they need delivered to their doors. We are also providing emergency accommodation to those in immediate housing need during this period.

Finally we want to reiterate the governments advice around social distancing. Just because it is a bank holiday weekend it does not mean that the rules do not apply. You should be staying in your home other than to collect essential food shopping, go to work, if you cannot work from home and for daily exercise. By sticking to this advice it means you are helping to protect the NHS and save lives. You should also continue to wash your hand often with soap and water.

These actions have been taken in line with government advice and are designed to help ensure the safety and wellbeing of our customers, service users and staff.

The situation may change, please continue to check www.wrekin.com/coronavirus and our social media channels for updates and further information. If you would like to receive information directly you can sign up for email updates. Just let us know by emailing coronavirus@wrekin.com

We appreciate your ongoing understanding throughout this difficult time.
