C19 update – Bogus callers and face coverings - Friday 7 August

Bogus callers

It's been brought to our attention that there has recently been a bogus caller knocking on doors, claiming to be from The Wrekin Housing Group and asking for money.

We are advising all customers to be on their guard and be alert to bogus callers making door step visits.

If you have any concerns, please report it to the police on 101 or contact us on 01952 217100.

Face coverings

From Saturday 8 August face coverings will need to be worn in more indoor settings. They are already required on public transport, and in shops and supermarkets. Added to the list this week are indoor venues such as museums, galleries, cinemas and public libraries. The full list is available on the gov.uk website.
