College football team gets sponsorship boost from Trust

The Trust has a number of new developments in the Oswestry area, and has recently requested planning permission for a new site at Unicorn Road, as well as looking at the old Leisure Centre site for potential new affordable housing.
With this in mind, the college contacted us to see if it would be interested in supporting a local organisation, and we agreed to provide the college's construction department's football team with a brand new kit; a great way of promoting the work that we do in the area and supporting the local community.
Sarah Bradshaw, who oversees a number of the Trust's developments in the area, handed over the kits to Sharon Cooper, Head of Commercial Services, and Scott Hale, one of the players.
She said: "We're really pleased to support the local college in an area where we already have, and are developing more, affordable homes for local people. The team will look really smart in the new kits and we hope to continue and expand our relationship with local clubs and businesses in the area."
The Trust's plans for Unicorn Road, formerly known as the Burbidge's stair manufacturing factory, includes 53 new affordable rented homes with a mixture of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom houses and 2 bedroom bungalows.
A planning decision is hoped for early next year and if given the go ahead, work could start as early as spring 2016.
The Trust also has homes at Middleton Road and Bower Farm in St Martins, where a second phase including shared ownership properties in currently underway.
