Ask Granny Deakin

Granny Deakin

If I report anti social behaviour, what will happen?

The housing executive will draw up an action plan with you setting out the actions that need to be taken to resolve the complaint.

We can't take action to stop anti social behaviour without evidence, so are likely to ask you to record details of any ongoing anti social behaviour.  We will ask your permission to approach those causing the problems to investigate the complaint and will interview the persons you are complaining about to hear what they have to say.

Your housing executive will discuss the outcome of our investigation with you and let you know what action we intend to take.  You may want to seek independent advice from a solicitor or the Citizens Advice Bureau.
