Feeding back - moving forwards

We aim to provide good quality services that meet your expectations and are accessible to everyone.

We value your views and opinions. Receiving feedback from residents and other interested parties is an important part of reviewing services and helps us to make sure that what we provide is appropriate and cost effective.

No matter what type of feedback you want to give us, whether it is positive or negative, we will take it seriously, treat you fairly and learn at every opportunity from the feedback we receive.

Compliments: 
If you are happy with a service or the quality of the service we have provided or the people who provided the service.

Comments: 
You can suggest improvements we can make or suggest changes you think we should make service delivery, or give an opinion on what we do.

Queries:
There may be something you want to know, or a question you need to ask.

Complaints:
While we aim to get it right first time we appreciate that on occasions you may not be satisfied with the service you receive or some of the things we do. We openly encourage our customers to tell us when something goes wrong or when they are dissatisfied, so that we can do something about it, learn from any mistakes and make any necessary improvements to our services.

In most cases we try to resolve your complaint immediately. Where it is possible to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction within 48 hours, we will let you know what we have done and confirm with you that you are satisfied, we will usually do this by telephone so please make sure that where possible, you give us a telephone contact number.

If, from the outset we know we won't be able to resolve the complaint quickly, or if it becomes apparent in our initial attempts to resolve it, that it will not be possible to resolve it quickly, we will use the Trust's complex complaints procedure and acknowledge your complaint.
