Eric was born in the West Midlands and moved to the Telford area after leaving the army in 1976. Prior to joining the army, he served his apprenticeship as a carpenter and joiner and worked in the building trade for many years before being forced to retire through disability.
Eric undertook volunteering work for the Trust 4 years ago as a tenant audit and was subsequently elected to the Tenants' Central Panel.
