Scheme Managers
Your Scheme Manager is trained and skilled in a variety of different ways to ensure they are giving you the best service possible. Some of their recent training includes:
- First Aid
- Food Hygiene
- Abuse of Vulnerable Adults
- Support Planning
- Chartered Institute of Housing - Certificate of Supported Housing
Their role is to: -
- Help to organise social events on and off the Scheme
- Encourage outside clubs and agencies to visit Schemes for your entertainment
- Carry out Individual Support Plans with you to ensure that you are making the most of all the services and benefits available to you
- Ensure that you are able to maximise your income and give advice and assistance regarding Housing Benefit Forms and Fairer Charging Forms
- Referrals to other agencies. Scheme Managers are able to contact Social Services, G.P.'s, and Age Concern on your behalf
