Scheme Managers

Your Scheme Manager is trained and skilled in a variety of different ways to ensure they are giving you the best service possible.  Some of their recent training includes:

  • First Aid
  • Food Hygiene
  • Abuse of Vulnerable Adults
  • Support Planning
  • Chartered Institute of Housing - Certificate of Supported Housing

Their role is to: -

  • Help to organise social events on and off the Scheme
  • Encourage outside clubs and agencies to visit Schemes for your entertainment
  • Carry out Individual Support Plans with you to ensure that you are making the most of all the services and benefits available to you
  • Ensure that you are able to maximise your income and give advice and assistance regarding Housing Benefit Forms and Fairer Charging Forms
  • Referrals to other agencies. Scheme Managers are able to contact Social Services, G.P.'s, and Age Concern on your behalf
