Quality Inspectors

Quality Inspectors are volunteer residents or leaseholders who check and monitor services on the ground, such as contractor work.

What are the key aims of the scheme?

  • Involve residents in service delivery
  • Be our eyes and ears for quality.

How much time is involved? The amount of time you commit to the role is entirely dependent on you. We want you to be involved at a pace and level that you feel comfortable with. Inspections can range from a 5 minute inspection after cleaning for example to attending quarterly contractor meetings.

Do Quality Inspectors improve services? Yes, the reality checks that are completed by Quality Inspectors highlight strengths and weaknesses of different services enabling the Trust to continuously improve in these areas.

What can you expect to achieve? Quality Inspectors are a crucial element in developing and maintaining excellent service to our customers, all from their perspective. The Trust believes that working in partnership with customers is the best way of making sure that we deliver services that residents want and value.
