Problems with Rent Arrears, Council Tax Bills, Credit Card Demands and other bills will not go away unless you take action. If we can help - we will. If we can't help, we will put you in touch with someone who can.

If you have problems with debt there are many agencies able to offer you free advice and help: The National Debtline, Citizens Advice Bureau, Consumer Credit Counselling Service, CAB Debt Referral Scheme.

Citizens Advice Bureau
The Wrekin Housing Trust are now working in partnership with Telford & Wrekin Citizens Advice Bureau, as we know that many of our tenants have rising debt issues and don't always know where to go for help. To help you to access free, confidential and impartial help and advice we are now working in partnership with the CAB to provide a direct referral process.

This service is available at all of our area offices although an appointment may be necessary. Trained staff will complete a set of referral forms with you, gathering the information that the CAB will need. The CAB will then contact you direct within a couple of days with an appointment to see a Debt Advice Worker at their offices in Ketley.
