Antisocial behaviour

Respect for your neighbours

As a Trust tenant you are responsible for making sure that everyone living with or visiting you treats your home and the neighbourhood with respect and follows the rules set out in your tenancy agreement.

Most of our tenants never cause or experience antisocial behaviour. However, unfortunately there are a few exceptions and the following information refers to these situations.

Living near somebody who behaves antisocially can be unpleasant and stressful and can make life a misery. When problems first arise it is often better to speak to the people involved. They may not realise that their behaviour is affecting you and if you approach them you may be able to work out a solution together.

Reporting Antisocial Behaviour
We take reports of antisocial behaviour seriously and will take action to help prevent and resolve any problems. If you want to report an incident of antisocial behaviour you can contact us by telephone on 01952 217100, by letter or e-mail (see contact details on this page), or in person at one of our local shops or offices.

You'll need to tell us the name of the person(s) you want to complain about, their address, the problems they are causing and whether or not you've spoken to them about the complaint. You can use a diary sheet, downloaded from the related items section on this page, to help you keep a record of the Anti-Social Behaviour that you are experiencing.

A quick response is important when you report antisocial behaviour and we have set timescales for dealing with incidents. You can find out more in our respect for those around you leaflet.
