Working Together For a Positive Future

Meeting August 2009

Meeting 27th August 2009
The latest meeting was hosted by the South team and included presentations regarding different areas of the our services.  The meeting was very well attended and in depth discussions were held on the issues raised in the presentations.

The first presentation was hosted by Linda Vasilionka who talked about the Customer Contact Centre. Linda gave an overview of how the CCC works and the different services her team provide to tenants including taking rent payments and carrying out satisfaction surveys on repairs. After the presentation there were a number of questions from the audience regarding the complaints procedure and responsive repair issues.

Next to present was Dave Hall, talking about the Quality Inspectors Project for the Planned Programme. Dave gave an overview of the progress of the project and how it is being used to improve service for those who receive improvement work through the Planned Programme. The presentation helped create more interest in the Quality Inspectors scheme, which we hope will lead to more tenants getting involved.

The next item on the agenda was Resident Involvement, hosted by Dave Lewis and Emma Amplett. Topics covered included the Resident Involvement Review and the National Conversation.

The final session was hosted by Chris Shepherd and he spoke to the tenants about the WTFPF Steering Group, which is there to help Trust employees organise the events and ensure that the issues covered are relevant to the tenants.

Feedback from the event was very good, as was the amount of discussion generated by the different topics covered by the speakers. One tenant commented on their feedback form: "This is a continuing success and goes from strength to strength."

The next meeting is due to take place in November and will be hosted by the West team.
