What we are doing
During May 2010 we began the process of renewing some of our service contracts, namely, the Fire Safety and Lift contracts.

The works form part of a Long Term Qualifying Agreement and require an EU tendering process. Consultation began with affected leaseholders during May 2010 where they were sent the Notice of Intention letters.

Update
We invited affected leaseholders to make written observations to the proposals for both contracts up until the deadline of 7th July 2010. No observations were received in relation to either contract.

Next steps
Currently the tendering process is underway, interested contractors have up until 3rd September 2010 to submit their documents via a third party.

The next phase of leaseholder consultation will be to send the stage 2 letters of the consultation procedure, which we anticipate will be late September 2010.
