Parkwood Extra Care Scheme is a brand new development located in Woodside. It offers a mix of 1 and 2 bedroom apartments for rent, that are equipped with modern facilities which enable people who have care and support needs to live independently.
 
All apartments are wheelchair accessible and have a fully fitted kitchen with a built in oven and hob, fridge freezer, shower room with non-slip flooring, digital TV and Internet access. The scheme has high levels of thermal insulation, high efficiency boilers and facilities to recycle rainwater.

The building and tenancies are managed by the Wrekin Housing Trust.  We work closely with Accord Care and Support, which is the organisation commissioned by Telford & Wrekin Council to provide 24hrs care & support to the tenants.

The scheme also offers a range of communal facilities for residents to enjoy such as: -

The scheme is available to people who are: -

• Over the age of 60 who may be physically frail or who have mild to moderate health care needs.
• Or people aged between 50 – 59 who require care and support and who may have mild to moderate health care needs.

Each applicant will be subject to an assessment of support and care needs before any allocation will be made.
