Woodside Fun Day
Kind hearted tenants of The Wrekin Housing Trust dug deep into their pockets to help raise funds for a local hospice during the recent Woodside Fun Day.

In all, a total of £115 was raised by The Wrekin Housing Trust as a result of donations from people visiting the Trust's stand, which will be presented to Severn Hospice.

Wendy Gough, Area Manager for Woodside said: "Tenants had a fantastic time at the Woodside fun day. The weather was great and we were pleased to speak to so many of our tenants. We would like to say a very big thank you to everyone who contributed money to the Severn Hospice appeal. We are delighted to be able to provide funds for such a fantastic cause."

The event, which saw the Trust and its partners such as the Police, Telford & Wrekin Council and the Fire Service promoting their services, was deemed a success. Both tenants of the Trust and local residents of Woodside enjoyed such delights as football coaching, a tombola, bouncy castle and a hook-a-duck stall.
