Residents join together to help improve local community

Residents living in Dawley teamed up over the Easter holiday to help improve the look of their local area...

Residents of Chiltern Gardens and Purkbeckdale community group got together on their estate for an 'Easter bunny' themed litter pick. In all, six bags of rubbish were collected.

Several partners also came along on the day, these included Dawley and Hamlets Parish Council and Bromford Housing.

The group will also be holding a May Day event on Saturday, 1st May. This will involve building bug hotels, plant swapping, and creating dream catchers and willow twisters to hang in the garden.
