Pam Edwards introducing Parkwood
The meeting, which was attended by over 400 of the HCA's key partners and stakeholders, featured Parkwood, along with several other similar schemes throughout the country. The purpose of the film was to showcase to delegates how funding from the HCA has helped to see extra care schemes such as Parkwood develop.

Pamela Edwards, Supported Housing Manager was the face of Parkwood throughout the two minute film. In addition to showing delegates the amenities on offer at the scheme, Pam also spoke about how much of a positive impact Parkwood had made to the local community.

Central to the film were the reactions and experiences of the residents who are now living in schemes such as Parkwood. Vicky Cunningham, a resident from Parkwood told how she loved living at the scheme and how much she enjoyed the community feel it already has. Vicky was one of the original residents from the old Wilton Court site who returned to Parkwood after the redevelopment of the site.
