STATUS survey – tenants’ chance to tell us what they think
12 September 2008
Wrekin Housing Trust tenants will soon be receiving a questionnaire to find out what they think of the services they receive from the Trust.
STATUS is a standard tenant satisfaction survey that is used by housing associations across the country and the Trust is required to carry it out every three years. Feedback from these questionnaires is then used to identify any areas requiring improvement.
To ensure confidentiality, the survey is being conducted, on the Trust's behalf, by market research specialists Kwest Research, who are members of the Market Research Society (MRS) and are registered under the Data Protection Act 1998.
Kwest will be sending questionnaires out to a random sample of 6,600 of the Trust's 11,000 homes in the area. Completed questionnaires are then returned directly to Kwest, so tenants can be as honest as they wish. All returned questionnaires will also be entered into a prize draw for a chance to win £100 worth of High Street Vouchers.
Jane Green, Research Consultant at The Wrekin Housing Trust, said: "The last STATUS survey took place in 2005, and as a result of the feedback we received, a number of significant improvements to our services were made."
"We would encourage all tenants who receive the questionnaire to complete it and send it back directly to Kwest. Tenants' views are important to us, and will help us to shape the services we deliver. You may even win £100 in shopping vouchers."
