Trust Calendar 2008
20 March 2008
The Wrekin Housing Trust's Annual Report Calendar has been "the best ever" according to feedback from its tenants.
Each registered social landlord and housing association must produce their Annual Report every year and provide all tenants with a copy, as part of the regulatory requirement from the Housing Corporation.
To maximise the value and longevity of the report and make sure that it is easily readable, the Trust produces its Annual Report in the form of a calendar.
This year's Annual Report calendar was sent out to tenants at the end of 2007 and featured photographs of wildlife that can be seen in and around the Telford area, all taken by local photographer Mark Sisson.
Each tenant also receives a feedback form, asking them for their views on the calendar and giving them the chance to be entered into a prize draw. Tenants are asked what they think of the size, layout, readability, colour, photography, writing style and information provided.
Once again, the Trust received a record amount of feedback, with over 300 people completing and returning their forms. In every category, 98% respondents felt that the calendar was good or very good. This year's photographs were particularly popular, with only one person (0.3% of respondents) not liking them.
Mrs Doreen Brookes, who was very pleased to receive her Annual Report calendar, said: "I have loved each year's calendar, but this year's is the very best ever. You have excelled yourselves. Thank you again."
Jane Brookes, Director of Housing at the Trust, added: "Our Annual Report calendar has always proved popular, but this year's feedback is even more positive. We're pleased that so many people value the calendar and get enjoyment from it through the whole year."
