Focusing on customers at The Wrekin Housing Trust

The Wrekin Housing Trust has held a series of focus group sessions across the West area of Telford to give customers a chance to shape the future plans of the area.

The sessions, designed to increase resident involvement at the Trust, took place in Hadley, Dawley and Wellington. Items covered in the meeting included the Trust's presence in the community, the maintenance of outside areas, what can be done differently and customer service.

A number of recommendations were discussed during the meetings and they will be assessed by the Trust before feedback is given at the next meeting, which will take place next month.

Martin James, Service Development Manager in the West team, said: "Resident involvement is a priority at the Trust and we want our customers to know they have a voice and we're very interested to hear their views on the services they receive and the area they live in. The meetings were well attended and we had some really positive discussions, which we will be working on before the next meeting."
