Fee currently £8,000 per annum, plus reasonable expenses.

The Wrekin Housing Trust is a progressive and ambitious housing association and one of the largest social landlords in the Midlands. We own 11,000 homes across Shropshire and Staffordshire and have an impressive development programme which is seeing us expand geographically.

Our aim is to provide high quality homes with excellent customer service to match. We are seeking a Chair who shares our commitment and enthusiasm and can help the organisation continue its drive for excellence and promoting this over the next five years.

The Board is committed to excellence in governance and the role of the Chair is to ensure continuous improvement in this area.

We are looking for exceptional candidates with proven business skills and expertise gained at senior management or board level. A background in social housing is not critical, your experience of performance management and passion for achieving high standards will guarantee your ability to contribute positively to the organisation.
