What is the cost of renting?
Due to demands on certain areas prices do vary. Within each area there will be sites of Low, Medium and High demand. Charges are based on a weekly rent and those who are not Wrekin Housing Trust tenants are required to pay VAT...  (Prices as of 1st April 2013) :

How soon could I collect the keys?
Once you have completed an application form (just print the first two pages and read the rest), we would hope to contact you with an offer and appointment date within one working week from when we recieve the form.

We operate a waiting list so in some instances there maybe a wait for a specific number or High demand area. If a garage is not available in your chosen area, you will be offered an alternative with a view to transfer to another garage in your chosen location when one becomes available.

How do I apply? 
Applying couldn't be simpler. You can download the application form from this page, or pick one up from your local Trust shop. Alternatively, we will post one first class if you email/telephone us your name and address. Once completed, signed and dated; the form can be handed in at any of our shops or sent direct to the garage team address listed in our contact details. We ask you on the form to give us three areas of choice, but we always try to offer a tenancy closest to your home address or 'first choice' area. You are welcome to specify particular numbers you are interested in renting and we will consider this first where possible.

How do I pay?
Our preferred methods of payments are via:

• Payment card (issued by WHT on request) at your local post office;
• Standing Order (mandate sent out by us and returned directly to your bank);
• Direct Debit (if you prefer we can send it out to you). Please return directly to 26-28 The Glebelands, Donnington Wood, Telford TF2 7PH) Payment over the phone via debit or credit card - please phone 217111 for use of this method;
• Online. Simply quote our sort code 20-85-46 and the account no. 10748366. You will need to quote your tenancy reference number to ensure payment reaches your account promptly, this can be found on your swipe card or rent statement and is always prefixed by the the letters GA. Or you can call 217106 and we will be happy to tell you your garage reference number.

Additional information on our updated rent arrears policies and procedures
In conjunction with our tenancy agreement and as part of our latest policies and procedures, rent is to be paid each rent fortnight (with the exception of those who specifically pay by direct debit or standing order).

Our latest arrears procedures will include sending out initial arrears letters at the point where even one rent fortnight has been missed.

Please be advised that when arrears reach a level of £50.00+ we will carry out a lock change and a further recharge of £53.21 will be issued and added to the outstanding debt. 

If you are on the waiting list for Choose Your Home, any offers of a property will be delayed until outstanding debts on previous/current properties or garages are cleared in full.
