Anybody renting a garage from The Wrekin Housing Trust must sign a legally binding contract a copy of which can be viewed on this site.
Garage Repairs
Our purpose is to provide, manage and improve quality garages in safe neighbourhoods so if there is any repair, no matter how small or large, that you feel requires attention please contact 217217 where your repair will be logged in accordance to urgency and we will carry out the repair as soon as possible.
Out of Hours Repairs Our normal repairs team operate from 08:00 -16:30 hours Monday - Friday; however in-between these times if you contact our Out of Hours service you will only be offered an emergency appointment if the following circumstances apply:
1. The garage contains valuable items that need to be secured and the garage door will not close.
2. The garage/garage door is deemed un-safe and could cause harm to the tenant and/or general public.
3. Unable to gain access into garage to retrieve vehicle
If any other repairs are reported that are deemed as an "emergency", we operate a 24 hour response time, therefore any repair reported on a week night will be looked at the following day and those reported on a weekend will be looked at on the following Monday.
Cyclical Repairs
As well as carrying out our normal day to day repairs on garages, we've also started a programme of general improvements to our garages and immediate surroundings. Some of the things we are doing are:
- Replacing doors
- Replacing fascias
- Painting doors
This will be done on an area by area basis so if we haven't done yours yet, be patient and we'll get there soon!

Garage Rent:
As part of your tenancy agreement you are expected to pay your rent fortnightly (unless you pay by direct debit or standing order). If you haven't been keeping up with your payments and have fallen behind, we will be sending you a letter shortly.
