In our continuing efforts to reduce costs and improve services to tenants, we have taken delivery of a new, cost efficient fleet of vans.
Thirty eight of our 120-strong fleet of vans, used by the repairs workforce, have been replaced with new vehicles featuring modern, more efficient engines with fewer CO2 emissions.
New, more efficient ways of working have all contributed to reducing transport costs and staying more environmentally aware.
Thirteen of the new vans will be easy to spot as they have been 'wrapped' with designs promoting some of our key messages and feature popular Trust characters the Deakins from the Wrekin.
Our Head of Finance, Jon Lamb said: "The new vans show our commitment to our priority for keeping our repairs workforce on the road, as well as to the environment and reducing costs; savings that we will pass on to tenants to reinvest in their homes."
