Stunning local scenes for Trust calendar

The National Trust has opened up its catalogue of stunning photos to enable The Wrekin Housing Trust to produce a calendar of special interest.

Images from National Trust spots including Attingham Park, Carding Mill Valley and Dudmaston Estate are among those to fill the 2018 calendar, which will be sent to all the Trust’s tenants and partners. The pictures feature a mixture of landscapes, wildlife and gardens as well as the interiors of some of the historic buildings.

Beverley Ashton, head of marketing at The Wrekin Housing Trust, said they felt privileged to have access to the collection of beautiful photos for this years calendar, which is always very popular with Trust tenants. “We are thrilled to be making a special partnership with the National Trust for our 2018 calendar and feel so lucky that they have given us access to their own images. Their collection of photos is so varied and we wanted to use a selection which showed some of the more interesting aspects of National Trust properties, gardens and landscapes.

“So, we have a variety of images ranging from horses in the autumn sunshine at Carding Mill Valley to wildflowers at Dudmaston Estate near Bridgnorth. We know that those who enjoy the National Trust are often able to access properties that are also further afield which is why we have also featured, Erdigg near Wrexham and the Shugbrough Estate, which is on the edge of Cannock Chase. All the scenes are within easy reach for people to visit for a nice day out.”
