Local people thrilled with their new homes in Gospel End, South Staffordshire

Young families have been given the chance to have their own home thanks to a new development of homes sitting on the edge of the popular Baggeridge County Park, South Staffordshire.

The new development at Baggeridge Village in Gospel End, South Staffordshire, is being built by David Wilson Homes, and The Wrekin Housing Trust has obtained a total of 52 properties to let affordably. Two phases of homes are now complete and residents have started to move in.

Some new residents moved into their new homes just before Christmas, and Michael Guy moved into Baggeridge Village in the New Year.

Michael said: "I feel lucky to be living here; I finally have my own space. It's affordable and the development will be fantastic once fully completed."
Kevin Shore, the Trust's Housing Services Executive for the Stafford area, said: "It's great to let high quality homes in such a great location. I am looking forward to letting the next and final phase."

The Trust will be adding a two bedroom house, two two-bedroom bungalows, and one and two bedroom apartments to the existing development throughout the year. All properties have allocated parking and all houses also have their own gardens.

To register for these homes, contact South Staffordshire Council on 01902 696504 orhomes@sstaffs.gov.uk Applicants must have a local connection to South Staffordshire.
